Residential Care

What is residential care?
Generally, this type of care is for elderly people whose requirements and needs are low. They may need assistance in day to day actions such as dressing, washing or encouragement during meal times, but don’t require more specialist nursing care or dementia support.
Our residential homes are run by managers who have a certified management qualification with CQC along with 24-hour staff support who are all qualified care assistants. If and when required, district nurses are called into the home to administer certain medications or to treat complex wounds
When might one consider residential care?
If a loved one is finding it difficult to live alone at home, or you are finding it difficult to care for them, it might be atime to consider residential care. We aim to give people as much of their independence back to them, while giving them the security of 24-hour care support when needed. Those who require some more support may be better suited to our nursing care homes
